I felt that way many years ago and found a way to freedom and success.

My truth was my inner person didn’t match my outer person.

I looked like I had it together but inside, everyday was a struggle.

I spent more time and money on my outer self than my inner self until I couldn’t live with my perceived out come . . . so I started learning and now I would like to share with you.

I have created a guided journal (a daily walk) with many of the tools inside that I used to reach freedom and success.

 You may be thinking, you don’t have another minute to spare right now or now may not be the right time for something new.  The truth is 90% of our behavior is a habit. WOW, 90%  

From the time we get up in the morning until the time we fall into bed, there are hundreds of things we do the same way every day. Shower, makeup/shave, eat breakfast, brush your teeth, get the family ready, conversations, cleaning your house, shopping, foods, what you think about, hundreds of the same activities the same every day. Those habits determine how well all the other areas work in your life, from your relationships to your health, to well being, and your income.

We operate on auto pilot going through the motions of actions and auto thoughts. We become locked into unconscious self-defeating behavior that defeat our growth and limit our success, even though we want more from our life. Our habits determine our outcome.

I decided I didn’t like the outcome of my life, so I started new habits.

The first, I realized happiness was my choice. Next, if I wanted to change my results I must change my thinking.  My habit of thoughts was honestly really bad, like the things I said to myself I would never say to my own children.  I started with affirmations, new thoughts, a few everyday over and over.  Did I believe what I was saying, No! but I believed in the concept and had to try it.

Where did I find the time? It was important enough to me so I decided if I wanted change I had to do something about it and I made it a priority.  I had to stand up in my own personal power and not end up like the bag lady I had created in my head. The person I thought I would end up as.  

The next thing I started was writing in a journal.  In the beginning all I wrote was what was happening that day, usually complaining about what was wrong. Makes me laugh now to think about how far I have come. Then I started writing affirmations and my feelings about topics and myself. Then I added things I was grateful for and now most all my journal writing is positive.

Then I added dreams, imaginations, and visuals of what I wanted.

So many wonderful tools that helped me go from a “Bag Lady” mentality to a “Million-Dollar-Amazing” team, making more money than I had ever imagined. My well being, attitude, prosperity, health, and relationships truly have magnified  because of the NEW habits I incorporated into my life. 

Many of the tools I share with you, in a guided journey I call “Personal Freedom,” and developed into a program.  It is a 35-day guided program with daily steps because it takes doing something for at least 30 days in a row to become a new habit. It will require 10-20 minutes a day.

What are affirmations?

A statement of words that describes an intention in it’s already complete state.   

What we say to ourselves are a collection of words, habit of words and meanings, which either serve us or don’t.  

An affirmation is a positive sentence or thoughts that when repeated several times a day can help to change the way we think. The direct definition for affirmation is: a positive declaration; something declared to be true, a positive statement or judgment.

When I heard about affirmations I was completely unaware of my thoughts because like most, I was on autopilot, trying to survive my life, going from one moment to the next unconsciously getting through the days.  Usually when I hear about something new three times it has my attention, so I started paying attention to what I was thinking and saying.  I decided if I made a conscious effort and came up with a new sentence of my own, something I didn’t believe in but heard if I kept saying something over and over it could come true.  I thought, “what the heck I have nothing to lose.”  I spent several days coming up with this and would change the wording a little now and then but at the time my first affirmation was “I have all the money I will ever need and I deserve every penny of it.” This was way out of my comfort zone but I had nothing to lose so I put this sentence on things like my favorite shoes and I wore it.  Saying it many times a day, writing it, making it a daily habit and ya know my life truly started to change within a few months. Not the way I thought it would but it lead me on a new journey which caused me to make more money than I could have imagined. Honestly it was the beginning of my own personal empowerment. 

We have belief’s that limit our relationships, how we feel about money, our success, and our health — truly every aspect of our life.  All our choices, attitudes, feels, and quality of our life are affected by our thoughts and words. The models before us lead the way in our early childhood programming. They were not aware how it would affect our life and so on through generations.2013-07-08 05.56.38

The good news is that today is a new day and WE have choices. We can notice what we say and choose to continue saying it and thinking it or come up with something new.  We can overcome any limiting beliefs.  Something new is called affirmations, empowering thoughts and conscious statements we want to believe in.

Practice just like you did when you learned to speak, walk, ride your bike, or drive a car. All of these things gave you independence and didn’t happen overnight.  Each day with practice you improved.  With affirmations it’s best to say them out loud many times a day, write them, bask in them, sing as a song and  wear them as your favorite robe or slippers.

Be on purpose and choose new words, new thoughts, allow new inspirations because it leads to your greater purpose.

Gratitude and Appreciation


The habit of gratitude is an interesting habit; it’s a way of life. Are you practicing it?

What does it do for you?

Take a moment… notice where you are…. what can you see?  Look around you?  Are you holding your phone in your hand or looking at your computer or maybe your iPad? What is to the right or left? What are your hands doing? Where are your feet?  What can you hear?  You can see so much at this moment; hundreds of things are going on around you.

So much we take for granted and yet if it were all gone we would miss it.  Gratitude is the practice of being aware of what is here and now, focusing on appreciation rather than ALL the things we view as wrong.

What does being in gratitude do for you and how can it contribute to your success, happiness and prosperity?

 Gratitude is awareness of what is present

It’s about waking up in this moment and being here – really being here – and noticing what’s around us. Most people are so busy thinking about the next thing, or about their terrible past, who did them wrong or what is wrong with a particular person, place or thing rather than choosing to see what is right in front 2013-11-05 21.08.57of you.

Gratitude is about honoring YOUR precious life.

Do you ever compare your life with someone else’s? Do you ever wish your life were better and more like, your friend, your neighbor, or a successful person you know?  Sometimes we can lose ourselves in wondering how we “measure up” to some standard set by our families or media.  Comparison shuts our mind down.  Gratitude wakes us up.

Gratitude requires that you validate your own life.  It forces us to say YES to the gift of who you are. The choices you made and the changes you’ve gone through— they have brought you here. Even if here is a place that needs a little adjustment, that’s okay. Being here in this moment is a gift and one to appreciate.

Being in gratitude brings more to be grateful for

It’s difficult to attract abundance and joy if you are constantly saying “no” or complaining about what IS.  You say “no” each time you focus on the past, or when you criticize something that is in your present moment.

Attraction is about saying Yes.  When you say Yes, you shift in a positive direction.

Gratitude says, “Yes, I love this!”  Yes, I want this!  Yes, I appreciate this!

Gratitude is a choice

How you translate any situation is the situation. What you choose to see is the truth (for you).

I’m not saying to live in denial or phoniness.  You get to choose your attitude about anything and everything.

You always have a choice when it comes to how you look at things. Choose to choose gratitude.

Gratitude is about wisdom.

We can choose to criticize, complain, and focus on the problems of the world. We can look at what is wrong with everything.  Ask yourself … “Is that who I want to be? Does that make me happy?”

Or we can make a conscious decision to look at what is positive, right or good and appreciate it.

 Gratitude is about recognition.

Use your power of focus to become aware of what is beautiful and what makes your heart sing. Recognize what is around you waiting to be noticed.

It is powerful to write in a “Gratitude Journal” every day, to take that moment to bring the things forward you appreciate. Like the stack of bills you have waiting to be paid, someone trusted you already for services or things.  (See my “Personal Freedom Journal”, a guided journal that will give you an opportunity to embrace the habit of gratitude.)

It is a creative act to notice and pay attention to the moments of your life. Some days it’s an enormous act of creativity to find things to be thankful for however it can be done with practice.

What we focus on we create and when we are grateful it brings us more to be grateful for, so you can’t go wrong with gratitude.  It is your power to create, recognize and appreciate yourself, the goodness in your life.  You are amazing, unique and worthy just because you are here … embrace that. 

Sometimes when I feel down or struggle, I start to write about what is good in my life and soon I’m feeling much better.

Exercise your power of Gratitude and expect to see Amazing New things in your life.

Money does grow on trees after all!

I was driving through the beautiful Kentucky back roads yesterday, driving in silence observing the view.  I love to just appreciate everything I see and Oh it was just absolutely beautiful.   All the green colors, lush green grasses, trees, butterflies, county farms, barns, front pouch swings, cows, rock walls and fences, farmers on tractors, the sky, the clouds it was just heaven for me.   

As I appreciated I thought about the belief “What we think about is what we create” so if, I continued appreciating all of this, I would see more!  Then I thought…. How can  I  incorporate more of what I want to allow in my world, to appreciate with my imagination?  And it came to me I could imagine all of these beautiful trees with money on them.  WOW how fun is that?!  The thought made me smile!

Wouldn’t it be nice to just see abundance on every tree and know there is enough? Every leaf would represent a bill of ones, fives, tens or twenties even a $100.00 bills!   It would create a life of eases rather than struggle.   The thing is…. How we feel is what allows or disallows.  SO if imagining all the leaves on the trees as money and basking in the thought there is enough,  feeling how abundant and freeing that feels, would be allowing. What happens after that is your imagination….Create a vision for yourself!

 Allowing feels better and Opens the door to more. Is it true? ….No it not however, it is about allowing or disallowing2012-11-06 07.01.32

The extraordinary thing is!!  I have been offered money 3 times since and it hasn’t been 24 hours!  I am grateful for my imagination, my wiliness to create, dream and discover freedom in new ways.

Core Blueprint

The controlling force in each of our lives is our self-image, our core beliefs about who we think we are. What we believe is what we consider to be our authentic self, whether it is true or not, and it is that belief that sets the limits of what we can achieve. But those are limits we have set based on our past experience beginning from the moment we could hear voices and feel our mother’s emotions. Our core beliefs and self-image blueprint is set up by the time we are 8 years old, what we eat, the money we make, how we spend our time, how we care for our body, the relationships we have and our achievements.

The fact is that no matter how our behavior and personality may appear to others, we are always true to our self-image. We will not go against it. If our self-image tells us that we are supposed to be poor, and that we are never to achieve beyond a certain level of success, we will always be poor and we will never rise above the ceiling we have put over our heads. This is because in our hearts, to achieve more than we think we deserve would be going against our self-image. We are what we think and believe we are.

Our Awareness of our core beliefs and who we think we are is the beginning of change. When we become aware, take responsibility, ownership and consciously choose who we want to be, our life changes. We must erase the old tapes, the blueprint and choose new thoughts, make a new blueprint to have the life we want with new achievements, prosperity, relationships and well-being.

Who do you want to be? If you could (and it is possible) erase the past and create something new. Who would you be? What would your new blueprint look like?

Today is your life; if it’s not the way you want it to be YOU have the power to change it. Your awareness has the power to change the blueprint and course of your life. Every single aspect can be changed, you are worthy of your transformation.

Breathe and Let It GO!

Breathe and Let it Go!

Truly it’s amazing just how much we hold onto in our thoughts, beliefs and emotions. We hold tight to the things we feel are RIGHT. We hold to our OLD stories of times we observed….. Like; people who have hurt us physically and emotionally, hurtful word(s) or actions of others, choices we view as mistakes, or stories others have told us about their interpretation of what happened, things or people we have lost, people we can’t forgive, people who have wronged us . . . Can you think of any?

I have spent many, many years working through this OLD junk in my trunk or stinkin’ thinkin’, as I like to call it. This thinking brings no Joy, no peace, no well-being and so I decided to just let it ALL go. Flush It, Forgive it and move forward. FEELS so GOOD!! Lighter! FREEDOM!

Unfortunately, this Stuff comes back depending on what is happening at the present moment. Ugh

So to keep Letting it GO, I Breathe, and imagine letting it all go through meditation. It is by far the healthiest thing to do. Even though what we eat and drink plays a HUGE ROLL in our health, our emotional state is even more impactful to our health. There are many ways to let things go, exercise, practice Yoga, receive a massage, consume alcohol (LOL, that is very temporary without really working), watch TV, or play video games (that is really avoiding, sorry doesn’t count), and I’m’ sure you are thinking of other ways!

Taking the time each day to let things go is a challenge. I find myself resisting and coming up with all sorts o2013-07-08 05.56.38f other things to do. However, WHO is in control here? ME!! And I want to live my best life. Our levels of emotions affect, our sleep, our immune system, our mood, work and relationships, and our well-being.

So here is what I do to ensure I have No excuses. I have created a space for mediation; it is my intended space with all the things I want around me. It is quiet, it is dark other than the light coming from my diffuser, and it is warm and peaceful. I use Young Living Essential oils because they help to open and clear my thoughts, they are relaxing and benefit my health as I breathe them in. They also provide an easy reason to breathe in deeply. I start with my diffuser; it usually has a Young Living essential oil in it, I deeply inhale and apply Release essential oil blend, then Awaken (another blend), then Envision blend and then I get into a comfortable position; continue to breathe deeply, letting go of any thoughts, while imagining letting go of all that does not serve me and releasing it back to who it belongs to. It takes practice and in time is much easier but so worth the time and effort.
You can use any Essential oils you want. You can also use guided meditations, which I still do sometimes. The point is, to Just do it ….Let Go of all that doesn’t serve you and let in all that does!
